A Proud Tradition of Scouting

Our Boy Scout Troop, Troop 601, has been molding young boys into young men for more than 60 years and is chartered by the First United Methodist Church of Upland, California.  Our active troop has weekly meetings, monthly outings, yearly summer camp, and volunteer and leadership opportunities.  Weekly meetings are held on Monday nights at FUMC Upland. For younger boys, age 7-10, we have Cub Scout Pack 601.  Cub Scouts is a family program teaching the basics of scouting.  Cub Scouts have weekly meetings, monthly outings, and summer day camp. Boy Scout Troop, Cub Scout Pack, and Venture Crew 601 are part of BSA’s California Inland Empire Council (CIEC) in Old Baldy District.  No prior scouting experience is necessary.
